Abstract

Seborrheic dermatitis is a multifactorial chronic skin disease. Alukina is a new compound containing aluminium potassium bisulphite, 18-beta-glycirretic acid and retinyl palmitate. In this study topical alukina was administered twice a day for 21 days to 146 patients with mild-severe seborrheic dermatitis of the face. After 21 days alukina significantly reduced all skin symptoms (itch, erythema and desquamation) and the percentage of the healed patients ranged from 53 to 70.
