Abstract

In clinical risk management, incident reporting is an instrument of adverse-event data collection. It is the base for subsequent analysis, monitoring and prevention. An incident-reporting project was tested in a Division of Endoscopy. Inspiring principles and structural elements of the project are described. The feasibility of a project of incident reporting in the current Italian endoscopic world is reported.
