N2 - The present study was performed to assess the contribution of the Factor V Leiden mutation (FVL:FVQ506) to vascular thrombosis episodes and consequently to graft survival in liver transplanted patients. A consecutive series of 108 primary liver allograft adult recipients transplanted between January 1997 and June 2001, was analyzed. FV genotype polymorphism was determined by PCR-SSP technique.
