We report a family in which three subjects, in two generations, are affected by seizures, probably correlated with a temporal lobe origin. The semeiology of the seizures and their age-onset, the association with sporadic generalized tonic-clonic fits, the normality of the neuroradiologic findings and the good control with the therapy, suggest a form of Autosomal Dominant Partial Epilepsy with Auditory Features, a recently described new genetic type of partial Epilepsy. The linkage studies are in progress.
