Fibrin glue is a biological substance that can be injected endoscopically, Once injected the fibrin glue induces the production of a stable fibrin plug with hemostatic properties. Originally proposed for the endoscopic treatment of difficult bleeding ulcers, fibring glue injection has been subsequently used for the treatment of gastrointestinal fistulas. New endoscopic indications such as treatment of bleeding varices or premucosectomy injection are going to be evaluated.
