Fibrous hamartoma of infancy is a rare fibrous proliferation. It occurs during the first two years of life, particularly in males and it is considered a benign and persistent lesion most frequently found in the axilla, shoulder and upper arm. Since the first presentation, many cases of fibrous hamartoma of infancy have been described, however few reports were published in the dermatologic literature. A case of fibrous hamartoma of infancy is reported and a review of the literature is made.
