Abstract
A case presenting the neuropsychological symptoms of the prefrontal lobe syndrome is described. The C.A.T. showed a subcortical lesion in the left internal capsule and in the left basal ganglia, the pre-frontal areas being spared. These findings are discussed in terms of disruption of the connections between the pre-frontal lobe and the limbic system.
