Abstract

The Authors have evaluated the functional recovery of 19 total aphasic hemiplegic patients. It was found out that 84,2% of the rehabilitated patients have reached a fair or moderate functional recovery and that such recovery was inferior in hemiplegic patients with frontal injuries. The Authors maintain that the presence of 'psychomotor inhibition' is the factor affecting the functional recovery of the hemiplegic patient with frontal injuries.
