Abstract
The authors report the case of correction of a large laparocele after lung transplant. Paradoxical respiration interfered with patient breathing. Three overlapping meshes were used to surgically correct the wound. Excellent results were achieved. Cortisone and immunosuppresion therapy was not discontinued; infection risk was minimized by implementing rigorous asepsis and a wide spectrum antibiotic therapy.
