5 cases of true precocious puberty (TPP) of cerebral origin are presented. The clinical and radiological features and the protracted follow-up allow, also in view of the literature. a highly presumptive diagnosis of a hamartoma ofthe tuber cinereum. The high incidence of these lesions in eases of TPP is emphasized, together with the importance of early neuroradiological assessment.
