Abstract

This is the protocol for a review and there is no abstract. The objectives are as follows: Primary objective: To assess whether head midline position compared with any other head position is more effective in prevention or extension of germinal matrix-intraventricular hemorrhage in infants born at ≤ 32 weeks' gestational age. Secondary objectives: To perform subgroup analyses regarding gestational age, birth weight, intubated versus not intubated, and with or without GM-IVH at trial entry (see Subgroup analysis and investigation of heterogeneity).
