The authors describe a patient who presented a syndrome characterized by congenital palsy of VI and VII cranial nerves, lagophthalmus, asplasia of the radial bone, hypoplasia of the ulnar bone, Fallot tetralogy, renal malposition and inguinal hernia. Some of these signs were present in the patient's mother. An initial diagnosis of Holt-Oram syndrome was made; a review of cases from the literature led to the diagnosis of arm-heart syndrome.
