The case of a 67 years old woman with angioedema since childhood, of increasing severity and unresponsive to treatment, in whom a diagnosis of hereditary angioedema was made, is described. In case of episodes of angioedema without urticaria it is important to immediately suspect the hereditary form in order to make an early diagnosis.
