Abstract
Muscle biopsies from 22 patients with neurogenic muscular atrophy show a high content of lipofuscin granules lying near the nuclei and accumulating in atrophic fibers. The lipofuscin granules were studied histochemically, and their microspectrofluorometric characteristics are reported.
