Abstract

Sarcoidosis is a chronic multisystemic granulomatous disease of unknown etiology. The histopathologic features and the characteristic perilymphatic distribution of granulomas, joined to an accurate clinical and radiological analysis, allow to differentiate sarcoidosis from the other granulomatous diseases of the lung.
