Abstract

Ten cases of hyperostosing meningiomas of the cranial vault, operated on in the last 13 years at the Neurosurgical Institute of the University of Milan, are reported. The risk of surgical manipulation and the involvement of the surrounding structures are presented and discussed. A long term follow up allowed a better evaluation of the patients.
