Bradycardia during partial epileptic seizures is seldom reported. We describe the case of a woman with a history of episodes of epigastric distress, facial flushing and sometimes loss of consiousness and sudden fall. MRI showed a left temporal lesion. Ictal EEG documented bradycardia during a left temporal lobe seizure. Ictal bradycardia is potentially life-threatening Cardiac implantation along with antiepileptic therapy could be necessary to minimize the risk of death.
