Abstract

Several pathogenetic and therapeutic aspects of psoriasis have been investigated during the last decades of 1900s. Genetics, environmental and immunological factors determine skin lesion, but the trigger factor is still unknown. Now psoriasis is believed to be an immune-mediated disease and both innate and adaptive system are key players in the pathogenesis of skin lesion.
