Abstract
In rat brain homogenates the reported μ-antagonist cyprodime was 46 and 42 times more active at μ- than at δ- and κ-sites. Simultaneous LIGAND analysis of [3H]-[D-Ala2MePhe4,Gly-ol5]enkephalin (DAGO) saturation and displacement curves by cyprodime, morphine and DAGO supported the existence of two μ-subtypes.
