Abstract

Pathologic considerations are described upon the incidence, evolution and aspect of multiple myeloma in old age, particularly in association with amyloid. The authors describe 29 cases of plasmacytoma most of which were studied by autopsy, and the most important data are pointed out. In particular, they studied the relations between them and the patient's age and they tried to establish the degree and the distribution of the associated amyloid degeneration.
