Abstract
The serum IgD concentrations were determined in 21 patients with Hodgkin's disease, in 8 patients with non-Hodgkin's lymphomas and in 28 normal (control) individuals by both a solid-phase radioimmunoassay and radial-immunodiffusion. Of the Hodgkin's patients, 14 displayed 3-fold increased serum IgD levels as compared to control individuals, while in the remaining 7 patients IgD concentrations were practically normal. Patients with non-Hodgkin's lymphomas had decreased IgD concentrations.
