Abstract

Data concerning a preliminary study on the prognostic significance of inflammatoty infiltration in cerebral metastases are reported. Seventeen cases of operated cerebral metastases have been studied to investigate their histotype and grade of necrosis, stromal reaction, and inflammatory infiltration. Finally, the results obtained are discussed in relation to the postoperative survival rate of the patients.
