Abstract

A double blind study was conducted in 20 patients suffering from cerebral vascular insufficiency, to compare the therapeutic effect of Hydergine tablets with placebo, during 12 weeks of treatment. A positive correlation between clinical improvement and reorganization of the electroencephalogram tracing under treatment with the active substance was established. Placebo had little effect. Significant differences in therapeutic action were observed between the two groups.
