The number of people with adult congenital heart disease (ACHD) will inevitably increase in the near future [1]. Recent data suggest that the number of those affected by ACHD, whether repaired or not, approaches the number of children with the disorder [2]. In this growing patient population, Tetralogy of Fallot (ToF) plays a very important role. ToF is the most common form of cyanotic congenital heart disease and thanks to the progress of pediatric cardiac surgery today we can expect that more than 90% of these patients will reach adulthood.
