Abstract
Obstructive Sleep Apnea Syndrome (OSAS) is a sleep disorder occuring in about 1-4 children between 3 and 6 years of age. In order to evaluate the efficacy of pharmacologic treatments a bibliographic search was conducted. Fluticasone and azytromicin can reduce the recurrence of nocturnal apnea-hypopneas, but cannot reduce the incidence of adenoidectomies and tonsillectomies.
