We report a case of a pregnant woman undergoing laparoscopy at 13 weeks 3 days gestation for a borderline ovrarian tumour. Laparoscopic unilateral adnexectomy was successfully performed. There were no intra- or post-operative complications. In order to perform a second look for the restaging of the disease the patient underwent a caesarean section at 38 weeks' gestation. A little ovarian borderline tumour was detected on the contralateral ovary at that time. At present, the patient is apparently disease-free at 6 months' follow-up. To the best of our knowledge this is the first case of borderline ovarian cancer in pregnancy treated by laparoscopy.
