Abstract
A case of unilateral 'Blaschkitis' in a 8-year old girl is reported. The typical S-shaped distribution of micropapular plaques was evident on the trunk. Treatment with topical corticosteroids resulted a prompt improvement of the lesions; nevertheless, complete clearing was achieved after many months. Clinico-pathological similarities with lichen striatus confirmed the hypothesis that so-called 'Blaschkitis' and lichen striatus are different expressions of a unique disorder.
