Abstract

In 611 angiographies performed in pediatric patients (47% in infants less than one year old) the radiographic data of 57 patients with neoplastic abdominal masses are reviewed. With the technique described no important complication has taken place. The authors define the limits of this procedure and stress the importance of angiography, particularly from the surgical view-point. Data obtained present information on the possibility of intervention and, above all, give a lot of anatomo-topographic details reducing operative complications and permitting a more extensive resection.
