Abstract

The content of 3-methylhistidine (3MH) and creatine was measured in the heart and in nine skeletal muscles of control and dystrophic Re 129/J mice. The mean 3MH level per unit of non-collagen protein was significantly lower than normal in all but the heart muscles of dystrophic mice.
