Abstract

In recent years, many advances have been achieved in the field of lung cancer treatment, including the development of novel therapeutic pathways due to the knowledge of the oncologic drivers involved in the carcinogenesis of the lung as well as the involvement of new radiotherapeutic and surgical techniques. Herein we try to summarize the main guidelines for the prognostication of lung cancer and illustrate the clinical application of clinical biomarkers with predictive value.
