Abstract

Surface water and groundwater are threatened by agrochemicals in many states. Major analytical and toxicological analyses have been conducted on the parent compounds, but the products resulting from their degradation and transformation have generally not been considered. The results of the mass spectrometric study of the degradation of two herbicides, alachlor and metolachlor, are presented.
