Abstract
The molecular approach to the study of minimal residual disease (MRD) in pediatric acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) underlines the importance of the molecular techniques in the hematology and oncology fields. The possibility to reach a 'molecular remission' after the induction therapy is the most important goal to cure the leukemia. We report the most frequently used markers for MRD detection in pediatric ALL and the results obtained.
