Abstract
Sometimes in micropuncture experiments, simultaneous evaluation of function and structure is required in single nephrons under identical conditions. Hence, there is a need for a simple method for fixing in vivo and then identifying the nephron under study. A very simple method is described which fulfills such a need, thus allowing the examination of the cellular structure with light and electron microscopy at the end of a micropuncture experiment.
