Abstract

The most commonly observed movement disorders in the elderly are essential tremor, bucco-linguo-masticatory dyskinesias, Parkinson's disease and gait disorders. The differential diagnosis of these movement disorders is sometimes difficult, as it requires the knowledge of some specific semeiologic features. The exchange of information with a specialised neurologist is sometimes necessary.
