Abstract

A case of giant lymph-node hyperplasia in a 65 year old man is reported. The clinical picture was identical to that observed in angioimmunoblastic lymphadenopathy, and there was polyclonal gammapathy associated with mild hemolytic anemia. The histologic study of biopsied lymph-nodes, however, dit not correspond to the picture of angioimmunoblastic lymphadenopathy. In contrast to other reported cases, the clinical course was aggressive and the patient expired after five months. (Blum - Terre Haute, Ind.)
