Abstract

Splanchnic vein thrombosis (SVT) is frequently associated with myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPN), and SVT-associated MPN has frequently the phenotype of an indolent or masked disease, difficult to diagnose, with a high risk of thrombosis recurrence.
