We report a 67 year-old patient, who had a cardiac arrest after myocardial infarction. In the state of acute anoxic oma synchronous and symmetric myoclonic jerks, involving both arms occured. Anticonvulsivant treatments were able to produce only transient suppression of these phenomena. Neurophysiological clues are discussed.
