Abstract
The growing possibilities of using nanomaterials and converting it into different materials or material assembly with different properties were discussed. It was found that by dissolving a binary mixture of particles and slowly adding a poor solvent, stoichoimetric supracrystals of remarkable quality can be generated. It was also found that a number of reactions than have an organic counterpart can be performed using inorganic nanoparticles. Nanocrystals can also be used as artificial atoms to form three-dimensional binary supracystals where a given nanoparticle was in a predictable lattice point.
