Abstract
Pediatric craniofacial trauma, less frequent than in adulthood, are an important clinical entity, especially for neurosurgical complications. The patients with severe craniofacial trauma need to be hospitalized in a multidisciplinary Centre (neurosurgery, oculistic, otorhinolaryngology, maxillo-facial, orthopaedic, etc.). Primarily the lesions have to be treated. Our work is focused to evidence the neurosurgical aspects particularly the immediate, late complications and their treatment. Furthermore, we include the record of cases of our Neurosurgical Department in G. Gaslini Institute that we collected in 15 years.
