Abstract
Agenesis, aplasia, or hypoplasia of an internal carotid artery is a rare vascular anomaly that occurs before the 24 mm stage of embryogenesis. Since the first report by Tode in 1787, 60 cases of an absence of the internal carotid artery have been reported in the literature. We describe a 26-year- old girl with rigth internal carotid artery hypoplasia associated with nocturnal frontal seizures.
