Abstract
The use of a particular type of metal electrode is suggested for the study of skin impedance. These electrodes do not impede perspiration and enable measurements of physiological electrical values to be taken, unlike plate type electrodes which have an occlusive effect and lead to hydration of the horny layer, thus altering the physiological conditions of the skin.
