Octupolar glass structure in a solid Ch4Kr mixture

Abstract

Evidence for the existence of an orientational glass structure in a CH4Kr mixture with 35% Kr was obtained with NMR measurements. Our results add an "octupolar glass" to the already known "quadrupolar glass" of ortho-para hydrogen.
