Abstract

In the last decade much effort has been made to develop the ideal pouch for continent diversion and bladder substitution. Personal experience is reported in creating both orthotopic and supravesical reservoirs. Ileum, colon and ileocolonic segment have been used in different surgical procedures. Early and delayed complications together with functional and urodynamic patterns are critically examined.
