Clinical and urodynamic findings were evaluated in 11 patients submitted to orthotopic sigmoid neobladder with a minimum 36-month follow-up. All patients but one, referred complete daytime continence. Seven patients complained of mild enuresis and 4 wore pads. Daytime interval between micturition was 3-4 hours. Post-voiding volume was less than 50 ml in all cases except for one (300 ml). Mean neobladder capacity was 400 ml in 9 patients, 300 ml in one and 880 ml in the remaining cases. Mean neobladder pressure at maximum capacity was 24 cm of water. In patients suffering from enuresis high intraluminal pressure was recorded. Good quality of life and satisfactory urodynamics were reported in long-term follow-up of sigmoid neobladder patients.
