Abstract

A clinical trial was carried out on 20 Parkinsonian patients treated with anticholinergics alone and with the addition of Levodopa-carbidopa. The results show that the association of Levodopa-carbidopa to the anticholinergics sharply improves the therapeutic response of all clinical and functional parameters examined. The combination therapy is well tolerated and easy to titrate.
