Parkinson's disease is an idiopathic, relentlessly progressive, neurologic disorder manifested clinically by tremor, bradykinesia, rigidity, and postural instability. After completing the diagnostic procedure and having verified the need to start drug treatment, we follow the criteria for therapy aimed at maximum benefits with minimal side effects in the short and long term. This paper examines, step by step, the different treatment options.
