Echinococcosis is a global health problem. In developing country like Bangladesh it is not very common but is observed in day to day practice. Surgery is considered as the standard modality of treatment. Medical treatment with albendazole is also practiced. But need for a cost-effective, efficient modality is always felt. PAIR is new in this country. Its efficacy has to be evaluated.
