The authors review drugs and modalities for treating erectile dysfunction. Papaverine, Phentolamine, Prostaglandin, Mioxylite, Calcitonin peptide and others are analysed and chemical, pharmacokinetic and clinical properties are examined in depth. The authors conclude that Prostaglandin should be considered the drug of choice as first line treatment.
