Migraine is frequently found in systemic lupus erithematosus(LES)r To verify the prevalence of migraine in LES, we have performed a case-control studyiWe have evaluated 25 LES with a standard questionnaire, and 25 age-matched control with self-administre'd questionnaireiThe diagnosis of migraine is based on IHS criteriaiWe have found, in LES group(23 women,2 men)64% with migraine and 44% with tension-type headache?84% of control suffered fron migraine,and 44% suffered from tension-type headachesWe found no evidence that migraine is more prevalent among LES patients,whereas tension-type headache is more prevalent in LES grouprFurther study was necessary to obtained a more significative data-.-.
