Primary immunodeficiency diseases (PIDs) are a wide group of rare disorders. In spite of the set up of warning criteria, a practical approach for suspect and diagnosis is still difficult. Based on few exemplar clinical cases and on the review of our experience, we propose some practical hints for suspecting and diagnosing PIDs in different age groups.
